These indicate the AFCS Modes.
The Lateral Modes are above the Vertical Modes.
Active or Capture is GREEN
Active show to the LEFT.
Armed Modes are in WHITE
ARMED Modes are to the RIGHT.
Flashing GREEN for 5 seconds indicates a "capture" mode.
Flashing for 10 seconds and then BLANK is FCC Failure.

PRESELECTED ALTITUDE
BAROMETRIC ALTITUDE TAPE:
Course Tape marks every 500'
Fine Tape marks at every 20'
Digits every 100'
Every 500' increments highlighted in CYAN
SELECTED HEADING BUG:
NOTE: When the Bug is off the scale, then a
DASHED LINE appears on the HSI from the
center of the display to that Heading.
AIRSPEED TAPE:
Range is 30 - 400 kts.
Range 30 - 200 kts has Marks every 5 kts.
Range 200 - 400 kts has Marks every 20 kts.

BUGS can be SET through the MFD Bezel Buttons.
Select MFD Menu and then SPDS Submenu to SET the BUGS.

89 KTS OR VR WHICHEVER IS GREATER
VAP: 89 KTS OR V2 WHICHEVER IS GREATER

Speed value appears when selected.
Selected Reference Speed will have two WHITE BOXES.

RETURN BUTTON:
PRESS: returns the MFD to the Main Menu.
If any Speed has both Inner and Outer Boxes
then pressing RTN will REMOVE the Inner Box.
