Terms of Service

DO YOU SEND REMINDERS?

Yes, I will send you a reminder text, call or email within 24 hours of my visit.

DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM CHARGE?

For domestic cleaning, I charge a minimum of 2 hours work.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER CHARGES I NEED TO BE AWARE OF?

In the event that the property doesnt have accessible free parking within the immediate vicinity, any
parking charges will be added to the invoice. As I travel with a trolley-load of equipment, I need to have
easy access to the the property.
Also, if the work needed if outside of the Lower Hutt area, travel charges will be added to the invoice - the
cost to travel is the same as the hourly rate of $25, with a minimum charge of 1 hour.

HOW DO YOU TAKE PAYMENT?

Cheque, cash or online payment after each clean, within one week. Bank details can be found on the
worksheet left behind after each job or on the invoice sent to you once the job is complete.

I MIGHT NEED TO GO OUT ONCE YOU HAVE BEEN LET IN, CAN YOU ASSURE ME YOU
WILL BE ON TIME?

I pride myself on being punctual at all time. On time is late in my books, so I will arrive 5 minutes early,
ready to knock on your door at the exact time we arranged. Every time.
In the unlikely event of unforeseen circumstances delaying my arrival, I will give you as much notice as
possible keeping you in the loop.

WHAT IF I'M NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR WORK?

My work comes with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you aren't happy, I can come and fix the issue
free of charge or you simply don't pay for the session.

ARE YOU INSURED?

Yes, I am fully insured.

IS THERE A CANCELLATION FEE?

Stuff happens - I appreciate that occasionally we might have to re-arrange our visit - please give as much
notice as possible so that we can both do what we can to make suitable alternative arrangements.
However, No show's or on-the-day cancellations will incur 50% late cancellation fee.

DO YOU USE YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT AND PRODUCTS OR DO YOU EXPECT TO USE
MINE?

I bring along my own set of equipment and products on every job. Unless explicitly asked otherwise.

DO I HAVE TO BE IN WHEN YOU ARE HERE?

Absolutely not, in fact, sometimes the cleaning can be carried out faster and more efficiently when the
house is empty.
That said, if you do want to stay in when I am there - it is your home! you are entirely within your rights to
stick around too. :-) We can discuss all of these details when we meet to see what works best for you.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GET SICK?

In the event that I fall sick, I will let you know at the very earliest opportunity and will do you the honour
not to turn up at your home if I am in any way unwell. I will re-book the appointment at the very earliest
opportunity ensuring that I am fit and well and reduce the rescheduled appointment by $10 to compensate
for any inconvenience.

WHAT IF I OR MY FAMILY ARE UNWELL?

If you or your children get sick with a contagious illness (i.e. the flu, a cold, pneumonia, chicken pox etc.)
please call and reschedule your cleaning. Even though I disinfect your house, it is possible that I might
transport germs to the next house or become sick myself. And to be fair to all of my customers I prefer to
wait until you are well again.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY KEYS ARE SAFE WITH YOU? WHAT SYSTEM DO YOU HAVE IN
PLACE?

I operate using a super-secure key numbering system, so that in the very unlikely event that the keys go
missing, there is absolutely no way of tracing them to your property. (I definitely do not put the address
on the key tag!)
