Construction of a bridge approach ramp using VSoL

VSL installed 625m2 of VSoL to create the wall.

VSL carried out the design and


installation of a 625m2 retained earth
wall for a bridge approach ramp on
the D1 motorway in Slovakia.
The wall was built using VSLs
VSoL system, with polymeric strip
reinforcement and 1.5m by 1.5m
concrete facing panels. It was
topped with a coping.

Polymeric strips were used as the reinforcement for the wall.

VSL carried out the calculations for


the wall as well as providing all the
components and performing the
installation.
