COMPOSITION
Diacal CK-MB is a lyophilized calibrator based on bovine
serum albumin with chemical additives and purified materials
of specified origin.

PREPARATION
1.

Open the vial very carefully, avoiding any loss of the

lyophilized material.
2. Add exactly 1 ml of distilled water (inaccurate reconstitution of the calibrator can cause erroneous results).
3. Close the vial carefully and let it stand for 30 min.
4. Dissolve contents completely by swirling gently, avoiding
the formation of foam. Do not shake!
5. Allow the calibrator to stand closed for further 60 minutes.
Transfer corresponding quantity needed for calibration into a
clean sample cup and treat it the same way as patient samples.
Defrost frozen aliquots of the reconstituted Diacal CK-MB
protected from light at room temperature (18 25 C) until they
are completely defrosted. To homogenize after defrosting,
slightly swivel aliquots and immediately afterwards use them
for calibration in the same way as the freshly reconstituted
Diacal CK-MB.

standardized conditions using the Dialab CK-MB reagent and
the Diacal CK-MB master calibrator. The assigned value of the

WARNINGS AND PRECATIONS
1. Each individual blood donation used for production of
Diacal CK-MB was found to be non-reactive when tested
with FDA-approved methods or methods cleared in compliance with the European Directive 98/79/EC, Annex II,
List A for HBsAg, anti-HIV and anti-HCV. As there is no
possibility to exclude definitely that products derived from
human blood components transmit infectious agents, it is
recommended to handle the calibrator with the same precautions used for patient specimens.

VORBEREITUNG

Flasche vorsichtig ffnen, um einen Verlust des lyophilisierten Materials zu vermeiden.

7. Genau 1 ml destilliertes Wasser zugeben (ungenaue
Auflsung des Kalibrators kann zu falschen Ergebnissen
fhren).
8. Flasche vorsichtig verschlieen und 30 Min. stehen lassen.
9. Inhalt durch vorsichtiges Schwenken vollstndig in Lsung bringen, dabei die Bildung von Schaum vermeiden.
Nicht schtteln!
10. Den Kalibrator weitere 60 Minuten verschlossen stehen
lassen.
Die jeweils zur Bestimmung bentigte Menge in ein sauberes Probengef berfhren und wie eine Patientenprobe handhaben.
Eingefrorene Aliquote des rekonstituierten Diacal CK-MB bis
zum vollstndigen Auftauen lichtgeschtzt bei Raumtemperatur (18 25 C) auftauen lassen. Zur Homogenisierung nach
vollstndigem Auftauen Aliquote leicht schwenken und unmittelbar danach, wie das frisch rekonstituierte Diacal CK-MB zur
Kalibration einsetzen.
