This article gives an overview of research done on leadership in early


childhood education.
This article discusses leadership in early childhood education. The key

Leadership in early childhood education is under-represented
in academic literature with only 15 papers in the past decade
focused on it. These papers focus on primary grades rather
than early childhood settings.
Student outcomes are influenced by early learning experiences

Findings/Conclusions-I am hoping that my findings will help to show
what is needed in leadership in early childhood and what would best
support the professionals in the field.
Implications/Action Planning-During this project I may want to take
the time to focus on what professionals need from their leaders. This
article can guide me in preparing a plan for moving forward.
