12 - What did the instructor do that was most helpful to my learning in this course?
Dr. B delivered the content for this course in a very engaging manner. He was very clear with explaining the material, and supplied additional material to back this up, along with in class activities that
involved class participation. He has very informative and energetic lectures.
Hands down the best instructor there! He is helpful, and makes class super fun and interesting. If anyone had any questions, he would be there to help in no time.
Have the class engage with each other about sociological topics.
He asked questions to further expand the questions and make us think of a concept from all angles and explained why each answer was different but each on had there benefits.
He did powerpoints on every chapter.

He provided in depth examples as well as gave us challenging topics to think about, which expanded what I thought before after hearing what others had to say.
He was very helpful in helping me navigate his class, and also provided great information on how to navigate classes to come. Before I came in to the first class, I was able to watch a video that he
personally put together. This video showed me all about blackboard, including features that weren't used in his specific class. I am very grateful for all the time the instructor put into ensuring his
students can navigate his classes.
He was very into this class. He was exciting and not boring at all.
I liked the activities and how the homework was set up
I really enjoyed the group activities, that kept me interest throughout the course of the class period.
I think the activities were very helpful in this course. The study guides were also a big help, when it came to taking the exams.
It is blatantly obvious that Dr. Buemi cares about teaching Sociology. He goes the extra steps to encourage students to participate in class, and to help any students that may need a little extra help in
understanding the content. This could be a tough class, but the style of teaching makes this not only a fun class but keeps it interesting as well. Great teacher, great class!
Letting us students talk to each other because it helped me understand what we are discussing in class.
Mr. B did a great job incorporating the real world to this class, even though that's mostly what the class is about. He was awesome to listen to and great to ask questions. If anyone would ever ask me
what teacher to take for Sociology, I would recommend Mr. B right on the spot!
The group activities that he had us do were very helpful and tied together the concepts he was teaching very well.
The instructor was very funny and got along with the type of age group he was working with. Overall it was an enjoyable class to be in.
The Instructor was very helpful in making our class participate and made the class more enjoyable and comfortable.

13 - What reasonable suggestions for improvement do you have?

Being able to understand how the grading system works and a more clear outline for the PAT 1 would of been a little more helpful.

I have no suggestions for improvement. I really enjoyed this class, I wish I would have taken the non-accelerated version.
If the Instructor could have more time with us other than those 8 weeks.

With this being one of my first college classes, and my favorite out of the others I am taking, I do not know any suggestions that I could make. Perhaps if I take another class of this instructors after
taking a few more classes, I will find area's that could use improvement.
