Nicole Marie Tomasello, compiled this dissertation to answer three
primary questions;
(1) What is the effect of Part C Early Intervention on the pre-academic
achievement of preschool special education students, (2) What
factors are related to parent involvement; (3) What is the relationship
of parent involvement to the pre-academic achievement of preschool
special education students. In order to answer these three questions,
Tomasello reviews various preschool special education programs and
interviews parents and early intervention specialists
This dissertation speaks directly to my area of research. I believe the portion that speaks
to parent involvement and the factors that dictate the level of involvement for parents
will allow me to have another perspective aside from the parent questioners that I will
be collecting
