16. Relationship with Colleagues

In order to ensure orderly operation and provide the best possible work environment, we expect
employees to follow ADECs Code of Conduct to protect the interests and safety of all students,
employees, and the organization. All Al Qemma staff members are expected to take a constructive
approach to disciplinary matters.
If a conflict occurs between staff members, then this is expected to be resolve in a professional
manner by the parties involved.
If problem resolution proves impossible, please involve your designated Head of Faculty,
followed by the Vice-Principal and/or Principal.
If a staff member appears not to follow ADEC/Al Qemma policies and procedures, the
designated leadership member [Principal/VPs/HoFs/Social Worker] will first discuss the problem
with the individual in question.
If inappropriate behavior continues, the individual will be required to meet with the leadership
team [designated members]. A written incident report will be given during the meeting and the
individual will be asked to provide a written statement. The cluster manager will be informed at
this stage. Both documents will be kept in the persons current year evaluation folder.
Should inappropriate behavior continue, the individual may be referred to ADEC Human
Resources [This will depend on the nature of the breach; prior employee history and the
seriousness of the breach].

All AlQemma staff are expected to ensure that any public comments they make reflect the
policies and priorities of AlQemma school as well as ADEC
