Using the letter building pieces and board, model
for student how to build the letter. Describe the letter: o For letter T, talk about how it has a long straight line that goes from top to bottom and a short line that goes from left to right at the top. o For letter C, talk about how it is a continuous curved line that opens to the right. Have student trace the letter with their finger and say the letter name. Using the Magnet Drawing board and letter piece magnets, model stamping the letter on the board. Let student stamp the letter. Have student use the magnets as a guide to draw the letter.
3. Wet, Dry, Try
Draw the letter on the chalk board
Have students trace the letter with a wet sponge Have students trace the letter with a rolled up paper towel to "dry" it.
