Calculation Summary:
With reference to the attached hydraulic calculations
For most demand.
Calculated system flow rate : 620 gpm
Calculated inflow residual pressure : 56 psi
Assume factor of safety = 1.10
Flow = 620 x 1.10 = 682 gpm
Pressure = 56 x 1.10 = 61.6 psi

Pump selection
Choose Electric pump capacity 750 gpm @ 70 psi
Choose Diesel pump capacity 750 gpm @ 70 psi

Fire water tank capacity

Pump discharge = 750 gpm
Duration = 60 minutes
Fire Tank = 750 * 60 = 45000 g
Selected Fire Tank 170 M3.

Diesel tank capacity

Fire pump engine fuel consumption = 0.063 gpm
Refer to attached fire pump engine installation / operation data
For one day
Diesel tank capacity = 0.063 gpm x 60 x 24 = 90.72 gal
Refer to attached diesel tank data sheet,
Select double wall tank 120 gal capacity (with L = 1117 mm, D = 711 mm)
