This lesson was quite an undertaking! You did much planning for this lesson. Unfortunately, when so many
standard and content objective/strategies are included, the lesson objective can get lost. This lesson could have
worked if broken down into 4-5 individual lessons. When writing and teaching a 20-30 min. lesson, keep your
objective clear. Use one or two strategies at most. You don't want your lesson cluttered with too many
objective/strategies. Keep it clear. It's fine to link to previous lessons and subject matter, but don't go off on a
tangent where your primary objective is clouded.
I was very impressed with how you monitored the class when it was divided into 4 groups. You walked around
and bent down to talk with them at their level. Your power point enhanced your lesson. I would have like to
stay and seen the video you had planned.
