The single most important belief in Islam, and arguably the central theme of the religion,
is that there is only one God. The name of God is Allah, which is simply Arabic for "the
(al) God (Ilah)."
Beliefs Of INC
1. The basis of our faith is the BIBLE. This is where God's words are
written. We do not follow any creeds.
2. We believe in only true God, the Father. We do not believe in Trinity.
3. We do not believe that Jesus is God. We believe he is a human, but
not an ordinary human. He is worshiped as what God commanded.
4. We believe that membership in the Church is necessary for salvation.
We do not believe that salvation can be attained only by faith alone.
5. We believe that baptism by means of immersion is necessary for
salvation. The church does not baptize babies.
6. We believe that Jesus established only one church. We do not believe
that all churches belongs to God.
7. We believe that the true Church founded by Jesus Christ in the 1st
century is the Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ). It is the name of his
church. It is the Church that he will save. Everyone is needed to enter
Christ's church in order to be saved.
8. We believe that the Church of Christ in the 1st century had fallen to
apostasy. It became as it is now known, the Roman Catholic Church.
9. We believe that Bro. Felix Manalo is a messenger of God in these last
days. He is the instrument on restoring the true Church that was
apostatized. We do not recognize him to be the founder of the church.
10. We believe that the fulfillment on where and when the Church reemerged, in the Philippines (a country in the far east), in 1914
(beginning of the first world war).
BASIC BELIEFS OF
CATHOLICISM
Catholics are, first and foremost, Christians who believe that Jesus Christ is the
Son of God. Catholicism shares some beliefs with other Christian practices, but
essential Catholic beliefs include the following:
The Bible is the inspired, error-free, and revealed word of God.
Baptism, the rite of becoming a Christian, is necessary for salvation
whether the Baptism occurs by water, blood, or desire.
Gods Ten Commandments provide a moral compass an ethical
standard to live by.
The existence of the Holy Trinity one God in three persons. Catholics
embrace the belief that God, the one Supreme Being, is made up of three
persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Catholics also believe that since Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of
Eden, all humans are born with original sin, which only Baptism removes. A
happier belief is in grace, a totally free, unmerited gift from God. Grace is a
sharing in the divine; the inspiration to do Gods will.
Catholics recognize the unity of body and soul for each human being. So
the whole religion centers on the truth that humankind stands between the
two worlds of matter and spirit. The physical world is considered part of
Gods creation and is, therefore, inherently good until an individual misuses
it.
