INTRODUCTION
Research Questions (if research questions are not specifically mentioned, what is
the theoretical background or overarching theme):

1. What is the impact of the training process on school administrators use of iPads for
administrative tasks and personal organization in their professional duties?
2. What is the impact of the training process on school administrators beliefs regarding
how teachers should use iPads in the classroom?
3. Are there any differences in school administrators survey responses based on gender,
age, years of experience in school administration and education, highest degree attained,
school classification, or school size?

Purpose of the research:

The purpose of this study is to show how important it is for Admistrators to use Ipads in
their professional lives, and how it affects them.
METHODOLOGY
What is the methodology for the research or approach used to understand the
issue? Provide information regarding the following:

Participants:
Subjects were administrators from one of the biggest charter schools located in
southwestern state
51 subjects with ipads were chosen to take a survey
Procedures:
The survey was given with a pre-survey, a training session, and a post-

survey about the use of iPad from administrators for administrated tasks
and personal tasks.
The study was from February to May 2013
The post- survey had questions about the subjects self-reports after they
have had the training.
A one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) test was given to see the difference in
answers between gender, age, years of experience in school administrative and
education, highest degree attained, school classi- fication, and school size.
The training was designed after a webinar was given, and they got input from
people that attended.
Data Collection Methods/Data Source:
Pre- Survey and Post- Survey.
Data Analysis:
Survey responses were reported as frequencies.
The average age of school administrators who participated was 34.16 years. The
average years of experience in education was 8.45, and the average years of
experience as a school administrator was 2.04. The average school size of
participants was calculated as 618.50.

RESULTS
Findings or Results (or main points of the article):

According to the table the subjects had a mean score of 3.73 in the pre-survey and

4.27 in the post-survey.

According to the table 1 with a mean score of 3.73 in the pre-survey and 4.27 in
the post-survey it indicates that I pad were successful for principles.

DISCUSSIONS
Conclusions/Implications (for your profession):
After these surveys were given a lot of school administrators reported that they
really liked the idea of pads, and that all administrative should have it. They also
wanted teachers to use more for lessons that included presentations even live
streams. Principles have the power to enforce ipads since they are in charge of
instructional and technology in their schools.

REFLECTIONS
Students Reflections (changes to your understanding; implications for your
school/work):

I believe that administration using ipads might be able to succeed better. I didnt realize
how much ipads were important in a learning environment until I read this study. I do
notice many of my professors with ipads, and I fully understand why. Like mentioned in
the article the principle should be the one who tells the administrators to use ipads more. I
think there are many different ways to use an iPad to make a school more effective. The
training that they did also looks like it helped a lot in many ways.
