"Island Resort" Employees Perception and Experiences

Objective
The study sought to determine the lifestyle of the employees in an island resort.
Scope and Limitation
The respondents of the study or the conversational partners will be limited only to five
personnel of Lakawon Beach Resort.
The study will be limited on the questions pertaining to their perception experiences
and lifestyle in the island. The qualitative research method will be utilized. Essay, Focus
groups discussion and individual interview will be conducted for the data gathering.
Significance of the Study
The researchers foresee that the study will give you valuable assistance to the
following:
SHTM Teachers -the study will improve their skills and to give techniques on how they
handled an interview with confidence.
SHTM Student -They will acquire more skills, techniques, knowledge through an
interview and also based in actual experienced and or can be applied in the future.
Employees- Satisfaction in a way is essential for the employee retention and also
needs to be passionate towards their work. And for organization to have experience
people around who can guide freshers or individual who have just work.
Researchers-The results of this study may enlighten the researchers as to their new
discoveries on the result that will enhance their skills. Knowledge and attitude.
Future Researcher-The study will give the researchers an idea of to conduct a similar
study on the life and perceptions of personnel in the island.

Definition of terms
The terms are defined conceptually and operationally to ensure understanding of the
study.
Employee
Conceptually, It is defined as a person in the service provided with a salary, wage, fee or
payment to accomplish and perform their working task. (Charles J. Muhl,2002).
Operationally, this study refers to the employees hired for work and motivates them to
receive specific amount of salary from the management.
Experience
Conceptually, it defined as the knowledge or a feeling being obtained through direct
impressions it might be on neither happiness nor sadness. (Spencer, 1762)
Operationally, it refers to emotional, physical, spiritual, psychological and mental aspect
of man's life.
Island Resort
Conceptually, It is defined as any landmass that is smaller than the smallest continent
and that is completely surrounded by water, to which many people go for recreation,
rest, etc. (Menard, H.W., Islands 1987).
Operationally, it refers on a workplace of the employees where they work in actual and a
place where they are staying at a long period of time.
Perception
Conceptually, it defined as a process of gaining sensory information about something.
(Cutting, J.E., 1986)
Operationally, it refers to an awareness of a person and identification in their
physiological bases.
