What is the relation between language, culture and cognition according to the
answer given by your participant? -Explain and support that using the theory
worked in class.-

People find the way to express thoughts trough language. When they are
interacting to each other, there are internal channels of communication that
explains what you say, what you do, how many words are fixed together to
express a different actions. Moreover, language entirely determines the
thickness of cognitive processes. The hypothesis of linguistic determinism that
we assume language is not itself a representational tool; but exist weaker
forms of correlation, often producing positive empirical evidence for a
correlation of social groups as we see, words like hot mess, or hoagies are used
in New Jersey .

hoagies have the meaning of Sandwich has the same meaning in Spanish, and
English even though its an English word, we use it and we know what it is
,since our social group determines their natural way to referring to this
common manners inside our social milieu. Nevertheless Emparedado gets a
different word but same meaning.

Other example is the word "Soda. It can be understandable in Spanish and

English, but "POP" is not because it has different meanings. For instance, you
can refer to POP for a genre of music Pop Music".
By the other hand, The word "Sneakers" can create misunderstanding because
if you tell to a person who speaks Spanish " Hola, dame unos Sneakers" they
will give you a bar of chocolate because it has the same word sound , but if you
do so in USA,most specifically in the south of New Jersey they would know
what you are referring to depending on the context.

Language is based on personal construction; it shapes ones that come from our
perception as we have done a representational system. To say it better, we
structuralize the basis of meaning for each representation of a word as we
design some images to discriminate, which is detected within consciousness
ideas that language allows to produce( a thought, intuition, deduction), those
are good effort in ours.

As an example Hot Mess: It will not be the matter of be rude , as word

pendejo has in Spanish if we were friends unless this word Has different
Homonymous meanings like referring into a silly person or stupid person, or
the act of make fun with friends. Hot mess typically is used when some of

your friends have done something crazy or silly. This is not a word it would be
use with a stranger because it has a negative connotation alike to Word
Pendejo.

Besides these misunderstood, we contextualize our ideas regarded to what we

have understood. We discrimnate against our own mental contractions after
that, we evaluate and represent the both things. The reality and thoughts as
only one. This the mean of lenguaje uses to join culture and cognition.
