B. Motivation
A. The teacher will tell a story about an incident in a computer laboratory.
B. Based on the story, the teacher let the students answer the following
questions.
1. What happened to the girl when she touched the computer while her
hands are wet?
2. What do you think is the reason why that incident happened?
3. If the girl has dry hands and has a protection or protective equipment, do
you think such accident would be prevented?
4. Do you think PPE can help us prevent and avoid accidents?
1. Based on the story, the teacher let the students guess the lesson for the day.
C. Setting of Objectives
Let the students read the objectives on the screen.

D. Presentation (Discussion Method using powerpoint presentation.)


1. Discuss what static electricity is
2. Ask student if they are familiar the word Personal Protective Equipment or
PPE.
3. Discuss what is PPE and what is its for?
4. Ask students of common PPE and in the computer laboratory.
5. Discuss examples provided by the students.
6. Provide other examples like rubber mat, anti-static wrist band.
7. Explain how these examples works and how do they protect us
8. Explain the importance of PPE in a computer laboratory

Divide the class into two: girls and boys.
Ask them to perform the anti-static safety precautions.

3. Give atleast 3 examples each.
