Career Objective
Pursuing a good career in a good company and use my skills for the development of the company.
Experience
6.5 Months experience as Software Engineer at Yahoo Merchant Solutions.
Now part of a new advertising based project, actively involved in design from scratch,
including building of database, architecture, defining SLAs between partners, coding of a
pilot project. Currently we are in process of converting the pilot project to a full-fledged
scalable platform.
As part of the merchant solutions, my tasks involved fixing of active s0,s1,s2 issues and
developing small features such as adding tax calculation on promotions.
2 Months full Internship at Swapper, a financial start-up, aimed at developing add-ins for MS
Excel for pricing swap rates, FRAs, and Futures, for different currencies. Worked as a full time
programmer from May 15, 2010 to July 30, 2010 and part time from Aug 1st 2010 to Nov 31, 2010.
We built the add- ins on Visual Studio 2008, using the Microsoft Excel 97 Developer's Kit.

Abstract: We developed a spell checker for text, using the standard oxford dictionary, storing it in
tries, and using edit distance to calculate the distance between words, ignoring the nouns that appear

A District level player of chess, representative player for my school, and my house.
A very good player of computer games, and the Coordinator of Zombie Zone, the computer gaming
event held as part of felicity.(Won prizes in 3 tournaments of counter strike)
One for the 4 badminton players of our batch who represented our batch in the inter batch
badminton tournament.
Painting is one of my favourite pastimes.
Has hands on Tennis, volleyball, cricket.
Won many quiz, elocution and essay writing competitions at school level and district level.
Got Best All-rounder Award in my school in the year 2006.
