Repeated
addition

It means an extended multiplication

sentence

9+9=18

Students Prior Knowledge:

The learners had a lesson about multiplication previously, in the week before I
present.
Possible Problems:
1.The learners might dont know how to start the repeated addition.
2.The data show might dont work.
Solutions for the Possible Problems:
1.I will apply some examples for the whole students, that shows the repeated
addition. For example: 2X3=6 is 3+3=9
2.I will use the white board only to show the examples.
Misconceptions:
The studnets might do 2X3 like this 2+2+2 which is wrong.
Solutions for Misconceptions:
I will explain to them that we repeat the number on the right depending on the
number on the left.

About the session:

It was an important day to me, because it was related to multiplication table and its my first time to teach multiplication. I was thinking of how the
learners will apply the activities, is it goning to be easy for them? Are they able to understand me! I was worried a bit that there might be some
issues during the explaination or the session, however I taught the lesson in a very normal way I didnt face any difficulties during or after the
session.

I had done a powerpoint and different types of worksheets that I used in the core part of the session, I explained more than two examples about
multiplication and I linked al the examples to things we do in reality. For instance: if I want to buy 5 watermelons and one pice cost 2 dirahms.
How much will be the total of the 5 watermelons? And the question will be 5X2=10.

In the session, I had noticed that using and applying new teaching methods make the concepts that is taught more clear, especially when teaching
young learner. Moreover, changing the method and doing fun activities will affect their performance too! Because when I used the dominos for
one of my multiplication sessions, the stdunets were so excited to use it and when they used it they started to work immediately without waiting
for my explaination. I think it is going to be a boring routine, and the studnets might hate the subject, so thats why I strongly recommend using
different methods in teaching, and apply learning by doing.
