Artifacts

This document contains five categories of artifacts related to my teaching practice

which are:

Commitment to the profession: it shows that I was professional in

attending the whole days, so I'm able to be committed to tasks
given to me.
Planning for learning: the pictures show how organized I was in
planning, which helped me to do well in the session that I taught.

Managing learning: the pictures show ideas and tools that me and
my MST used to manage the class and learning.

Implementing Learning: during implementing learning, I saw that

there must be a sequence for doing anything in the session, so I
followed the lesson plan to know how to start and end the session
in a way that doesnt affect students learning negatively.
Assessment: there were many assessing activities done to know
the areas of development for each student. The MST has files for
each student, to put the revision worksheets inside it and then she
will assess their understanding depending on how well they
answered.
Reflection on practice: In the teaching practice I learned many
things; it was a great experience that showed me my strengths in
mathematics.

1. Commitment to the profession

Picture (1)

This is the attendance sheet that I sign on every day during the five weeks that I spent in
teaching practice; it shows that I was professional in attending all the days without being
absent.

Picture (3)
I was using what's app to communicate with my MST, it helped me to contact her easily if I
want to discuss with her about the lesson/worksheets and the activities that I will use or
implement.

2. Planning for learning

The 3rd picture shows green baskets; whenever I have a lesson I organize the worksheets depending on
the group's names and the learner's level. I distribute the worksheets on them before I begin the
session, so when it comes time to do this task I just give the groups the baskets. In addition, the fourth
pictures show a game that I changed it question depending on my topic before I start the session as well.

The 6th picture is organizing the worksheets that are classified into: low, middle, and high. The 7th picture
is a planning that I did and practice at home before the day of the lesson.

3. Managing learning

To manager the learning I created something to

manage the learner's behavior, so it will also
help me to manage the learning. If there was
noise, it might affect the student's
concentration, so using this pyramid in the
picture helped me to avoid many things that
affect the learning,

There was another activity done by the

MST, it helped her to avoid misbehaviors
as well. It's linked to one of the science
concepts, and if the students collected 3
black dots they talk with the teacher and
the social worker individually.

4. Implementing Learning

In the teaching practice I had applied some of the teaching methods that I learned in one of the courses,
which is: act it out, it is about engaging the learners in the explanation of the concepts. Moreover, when
the learners were implementing the learning I did interesting activities to motivate them to do their
tasks, such as using the dominos and the coins.

5. Assessment

Picture (12)
The teacher had prepared a booklet, which has mathematical questions about all the units that students
are studying this semester, in the free time they answer the question and then the teacher correct the
booklets to assess where students should spend more practice before the final exam.
