Since 1973 Stell is one of the leading companies for labelling and signage in Germany. Stell identification
systems are used in process engineering (power generation industry: 500 power plants, chemical industry,
pharmacy, food industry), building services engineering (airports, ) and maritime signage and engineering
(Queen Mary 2, Superfast Ferries, Celebrity Cruises, ).
Service
Stell services include engineering, production and mounting. We fabricate all signs individually, install and
mount on board. Everything is coordinated by one source - therefore, there is no need for negotiations with
further suppliers or service companies. This means we guide you through the whole process of a sign
project from the first step to the last!
Quality
Stell materials are constantly being tested in laboratories. Part of them are accredited by appropriate testing
laboratories. Our general quality standard of luminescent signs is LUXOLIGHT B50. On demand we produce
three different other qualities (LUXOLIGHT C140, LUXOLIGHT D260, LUXOLIGHT E520) mostly used for
Low-Location-Lighting-systems. Other printed signs are made of adhesive foil or acrylic on demand.

Work steps
1. Audit & Survey

Experienced specialists develop complete signage
concepts, based on the general arrangement plan in
accordance with your specifications and authority's
regulations that also have to go along with all legal
requirements and architectural needs. Of course we
also audit and survey on site.
2. Production
99% of our products are manufactured by ourselves.
Our Stell standard quality of luminescent products
(LLL, signs, etc.) is always in stock to supply our
customers immediately. Other qualities can be
produced individually on demand.
3. Mounting
Stell-trained technicians work independently and
are specialists for the installation of signs on ships,
ferries and container ships as well as all kind of oil
platforms.
4. Quality check
Certified personnel check the installed Low-LocationLighting-system an board according to ISO 15370 and
IMO A.752(18).
