Oscar Pistorius is unusual because he is a worldclass sprinter even though he has no legs.
Pistorius believed he should be allowed to
compete in the Olympics because his times were
as good as those of able-bodied athletes.
The IAAF decided not to let him compete at
Beijing.
They made this decision because they believed
that Pistorius prosthetics gave him an unfair
advantage.
They believe Pistorius has been successful because
he has so much determination and willpower. /
because he trains harder than other athletes,

athletics.
The word ironically is used because in the end
the CAS decision made no difference. Pistorius
couldnt compete because he wasnt fast enough.
