Siemens have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and
ambitious individual to join our in-house Entry Level Talent
team as a Talent Acquisition Apprentice working towards your
Level 3 Advanced Recruitment Apprenticeship. The role will
be based in our Siemens offices in Manchester.

skills with particular focus in the manufacturing and engineering

What are my responsibilities?
You will have the opportunity to both learn and develop your skills,
working with the Entry Level Talent Team and focusing on
managing the end to end recruitment process for graduates,
interns and apprentices across the UK businesses. Your main
activities will be:

Holding role briefings with the hiring managers and


understanding the recruitment requirements of that
business area
Develop strong relationships with the hiring managers
and advise on recruitment policy and practice
Attraction and sourcing of candidates through
advertising and social media channels.
Supporting Entry Level Talent attraction and pipelining
events either through attendance or co-ordination
activities.
Managing applications through our Applicant Tracking
System, and following screening steps including online
tests and CV shortlisting.
Co-ordination and facilitation of Assessment Centres to
select successful candidates
Making the verbal offer and completing paperwork to
trigger employment contract generation

Managing the candidate experience throughout the


process to ensure they have the best possible
experience
Provide regular reports showing vacancy activity
progress.
Process improvement projects related to the recruitment
process or wider Talent Acquisition function.
Acting as a Brand Ambassador and promoting the
Siemens Employer Brand and Employee Value
Proposition at every opportunity throughout the ELT
recruitment cycle.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Someone whom has 5 GCSEs at grade C and above,


including Maths and English
You will have a strong interest in a career in Recruitment
and Talent Acquisition.
You will be enthusiastic and keen to learn and develop
yourself.
You will have good verbal and written communication
skills.
You will have the ability to develop relationships with
both internal and external customers.
You will be able to prioritise and organise tasks
effectively.
You will have a good telephone manner and
professional approach.

What else do I need to know?


Travel will be required around the UK so you will need to be
flexible in regards to travelling to our Siemens sites at multiple
locations.
On completion of the apprenticeship and subject to a good training
record this could lead to a full-time position as a Talent Acquisition
Consultant, and the possibility of further education and
professional qualifications.
