Good morning:

extinction. I would like you to send me some stuff about this, like brochures,
posters, etc. I need some information.
Thank you.

c) Using email: issues

Below is series of issues that might arise when using email with
learners. Suggest a solution for each
A Your learners dont have email account. I can help them to create
a new email account given them first a general presentation in
power point about how they can create a new e-mail.
B Your learners dont know how to send or open email attachments I
can use the power point too and show my students how they
can open or send email attachments.
C Your learners use abbreviations such as CU (see you) or the lower case I
in all their emails. First, I will explain the correct form and then
I will give my students some exercises in order to practice.
D You would like to provide your learners with a weekly emailed summary
of classwork covered, but have no time to do so.
E Your learners are reluctant to do extra work that belonging to a class
email discussion list involves, and do not contribute much. I can give
them interesting information about discussion.
F In a kaypal project, your learners dont know what to write to their
partner in another country. - I can give them a guide of how to
write in order to interact with others.
G Your learners are upset by emails received from the partner country, as
they find them rude or aggressive they have to explain their
friends how to write in a polite way.
