The Third Informational Task:

3- Classroom Management
1. Describe two times when your classroom management was
successful. Describe the situation, learning objective and what
the

students

were

doing.

Why

was

your

management

successful?
The first example, it was when I taught the science lesson. It was
the first time I teach in front of my science MST and the first time
I teach the M section. It was a peaceful lesson due to my
performance and the attitude of the children. I taught them
about the animal's habitat by using a visual story. The children
were engaged, and I tried to keep them attracting the story
events by asking them questions related to the story and the
lesson. I manage them during the next part of the lesson, which
was the main activity. I manage the class in participating by
using the quiet finger. In the collaborative activities time, I
explained to the children the instructions, which contain to
incorporate, be organized and raise their hands if they finished. It
was very successful, and I exchange the activities among them
and clean up at the end of the session. My MST liked how I was
managing them, and I kept the engaged by giving them

something to do every time.

The second instance, when my English MST was absent. There
are many lessons I taught, and it had an excellent classroom
management, but I would like to talk or describe this trail
because it was a different experience I pleased to achieved it. I
entered the English class because of it the time of it according to
my schools schedule. My MST had this hard time in teaching

them. I decided to help her and teach them about the book
activity. I attract their attention by showing them the activity in
the front of the whiteboard and explain it. Then, the assistant
distributed the books. The children again caused the chaos due
to their gathering on the colors. The colors were few, and every
one of them tried to take a punch of them. So, I took it and said
to them, "if you want to raise your hand and I will come to your
group." It was a good method for reducing this mess. In the end,
I asked them to clean and return the books to the shelf and make
a line. I used the bell to back their attention because the children
were very noisy during lining up. I asked them to line up, and the
assistant went with them to give them to the other teacher.
2. Describe something you would like to improve your classroom
management (using routines, giving instructions, dealing with
disruptive behavior, managing groups,) Give suggestions (or
talk

to

your

MST

or

MCT)

to

improve

your

classroom

management.
I would like to use several things in my next training practicum. They
are:

Using songs as transitions between the parts of the day.

(simple lyrics to help the children save it quickly).
Having a big paper or an A3 paper for the rules and stick it in
the classroom.
Creating a reward system that attractive and efficient for the
class and manage the collaborative work in the groups.
Using more fun, effective lesson plans and I prefer using it
according to the Montessori methodology to learn how to
teach independence and learner-centered lesson.
Using punishment chair to deal with the bad attitude. (for the
very bad children).
Using a puppet as Ms. Horsey puppet in teaching.
Using the bell to manage the noise.
Having countdown timer bomb for the games.
