1. Plan the works and select the required equipment.

2. Have induction from site supervisor.
3. Pre start procedure.
Bring staircases and bracing supports and man
lifter near to bitumen tank.
Bring crane and stay it in front of tank.
4. Before start the work, follow the proper safety
precautions.
5. Step1:
Put checkered plate tread with angle supports.
Keep yours safety belt fastened rigidly at
supports while working.
6. Step2:
Simultaneously fix angle bracing with the help
of man lifter.
Step1 and step2 should be completed
simultaneously from bottom to top of tank.
7. Step3:
Fix 4-5 handrail post to support one length of
handrail likewise fix all handrail and mid rail.
Refer relevant drawing of handrail for fixing
detail of handrail and mid rail.
Use crane for lifting hand-rails and mid-rails on
elevation.
8. Step4:
Start fixing top platform as shown in figure.
9. Step5:
Fix support bracing with aid of man-lifter.

Fix handrail post and handrail to platform
