NARRATIVE REPORT ON DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION AND


CONTROL (DAPC) WEEK
Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 264 which declares every 3 rd
week of November of every year as the Drug Abuse Prevention and Control
(DAPC) week . the theme for this years celebration is Listening to children
and Youth id the First Step to help them Grow Healthy and Safe.
The celebration aims to make people aware of the dangers posed by
drug abuse, and to furher strenghten their resolve to do their share in fight
against this menace.
The Lomboy E/S celebrated Drug Abuse Prevention and Control
(DAPC) week during the month of November ; the celebration was started
with putting up display depicting the theme in strategic places in the schools
and in the community . Then announcing the DAPC week celebration and
Coordination with local governemnt units(LGUs), such as barangay officials,
parent-teachers associations (PTAs), non-governement organizations(NGOs)
and PNP dagupan related to the weeks celebrations.
The 1st activity was the Poster making contest , the 2 nd activity were
Essay Writing and Slogan Making Contest and the 3 rd activity was symposia
on DAPC Week for the Grade IV-VI students.
On November 18, 2016, the last day of celebration; Announcement of
the winners in the different activities.
