Strengths of the lesson:

T is clearly in charge - you have good T presence - you are calm and approachable. You
have a soft, gentle approach and are very encouraging well done
T greets and introduces the lesson
PP presents Point of View and elicits what the Point of View is - stds attempts to
explain in English T is encouraging and accepts the answers, uses prompts look at the
picture to help std. A good resource, relevant and clear and good use of colour
Std asks if they can use Arabic you firmly say no
T presents PP teaching first, second and third person using examples on the board
information is well highlighted using colours to show the person - T then asks concept
questions to check understanding well done
T uses sticks (Ts routine) to manage turn taking lovely

T changes position lovely to see and uses the door for display stds read and decide
which point of view it is. Good std engagement
Whiteboard used by individuals good for assessment purposes
T works with indiv stds at the front and asks questions to support their thinking. Good
teaching strategy well done!!!
The teaching is well managed stds read and decide where it goes 1st/2nd or 3rd person
The pace is good youre keeping the stds engaged
Good teaching resources sentences with person in red and interesting sentences.
Applied the knowledge of concept from prior learner
Making links between theory and practice and banking
Differentiation planned for in terms of reading sentences without the person the being
highlighted.

Areas for development:

Whole class activity the text may need to be bigger to make sure that all stds can see it
Think about how you might support learning for whole class tasks for stds who are less
able? Do you think having the information available might help
Some sentences were challenging in terms of stds level - T scaffolded the reading
experience. Think about the levels and maybe providing scaffolds
Building up on content knowledge and knowing w. Making the outcome explicit at times
today was a bit abstract. What how the author writes or tell the story and being able
to give direct teaching
