CrossPointe Church started around 11 years ago
Started in the living room of the Pastor
Relocated four times due to its growth
Founding pastor is still the Pastor of CrossPointe
Second campus was launched a couple of years ago in Quitman
Member attended church in Moultrie and served as youth Pastor
Member moved to Northside Baptist Church due to relocation to
Valdosta
Member moved to Crossroads Baptist
Member moved to CrossPointe because having two young children did
not want to move around from place to place
Member knew the Pastor of CrossPointe
Member trusted the heart and character of Pastor
Member had left a difficult situation in the previous church
Belief that a church like any other organization is only effective as the

Member left previous church because they did not have a clear mission
and vision
Leader of previous church respond that mission and vision of their
church was implied and such thing was overrated
Member considers previous church for lack of leadership, which
impacted all areas of the church because staff or congregants were not
unified by a common mission and vision

the different ministries of the church
Member realizes that himself as well as his wife could use their time
and talent with a church that had a very clear-cut vision and mission

years

Member is also part of the Servant Leadership Team which helps fulfill
the vision for the church

As a LifeGroup leader the member has the task to uphold and
communicate the mission and vision to the group members.
As a leader, the member has the task of encouraging spiritual growth
and formation among the members
The Servant Leadership team serves in various capacities within the
church such as serving communion to greeting church attendees
during services
The Servant Leadership team is also available for short notice project
such as when CrossPointe served as a shelter during Hurricane
Matthew
Church has grown and has a small campus in Quitman testing the
vision to be a multi-site church with the same values but in different
communities
In the past few years the Mission Statement has changed to Connect,
Grow, Serve to Connect, Grow, Serve, Send
The mission change is related to the belief of sending missionaries and
leaders into the world to make a difference in other areas as well
Member considers Pastor to be the most influential person in the
church
Pastor sets the vision, leads the church, and continually remind
members of the purpose
Pastor also empowers other to lead

When added the second campus Pastor explained the church was not
about him, but planting other churchs in other small communities
around the area with their own pastoral staff
Pastor is humble He is not to make a name for himself but to make
Jesus name known

Pastor has sacrificed a lot to plant this church and he is passionate
about continuing to follow Gods lead for the future
Pastor was clear that God had led the Shepherding Team while buying
land for a new building
Pastor was making the decision with others
Pastor measures success by not by the number of SEAT, but by the
numbers we SEND
Sending out church planters, missionaries, and church members into
other communities is actually a way for them to measure growth. That
is what makes CrossPointe different and in itself is a challenge
They pray for new sites to open in surrounding communities
A huge external factor is that the culture is always changing
It is difficult for the church to be relevant without compromising the
message
Technological advances has influenced the church leadership as an
internal factor
Not resistant to technology so that it does not limit the type of church
member it will attract
CrossPointe utilize a wide variety of technology to engage people
While society may change, member believes that they continue to love
people the same and stay faithful to the mission and vision of the
Pastor
Members vision of the future is that CrossPointe will have multiple
campuses all over South GA and North FL
Member believe that they will continue to serve in the future as they
have in the past
