JanjuasaidthenexusbetweenterroristgroupsoperatingunderthesupervisionofNDSandRAWneededtobebrokenandtheUSshouldprovideassistancefor
thesame,accordingtoastatementissuedbytheNSA.Themeetingalsodiscussedcounterterrorismoperationsandcrossborderattacks.
JanjuaalsosaidpeaceinAfghanistanwouldonlybepossibleiftherewaspeaceinPakistan.TheAmericanambassadorwasalsobriefedonPakistanseffortsto
improvethecurrentsecuritysituationinthecountrythroughimplementationoftheNationalActionPlan.

asecurityinstallationinthecountryshistory.Threegunmenburstintothesprawlingacademy,targetingsleepingquartershometosome700recruits,andsent
terrifiedyoungmenagedbetween15and25fleeing.

GeneralSherAfgun,aseniormilitarycommanderinBalochistan,confirmedthereport,sayingcallswereinterceptedbetweentheattackersandtheirhandlers,
suggestingtheywerefromtheAlAlamiwingofLeJ,asectarianSunniarmedgroup.
WecametoknowfromthecommunicationinterceptsthattherewerethreemilitantswhoweregettinginstructionsfromAfghanistan,Afgunsaid.

IslamicStatesAmaqnewsagencyalsopublishedtheclaimofresponsibility,sayingthreeISfightersusedmachinegunsandgrenades,thenblewuptheir
explosivevestsinthecrowd.IslamicStatehassoughttomakeinroadsoverthepastyear,hopingtoexploitPakistanssectariandivisions.

TheHakeemullahMehsudfactionofthePakistaniTalibanalsoclaimedresponsibilityfortheattackinanemailedstatement,butwhenmembersofthegroupwere
askedaboutthestatement,theycouldnotconfirmitwasauthentic.
