indicate a student is sufficiently prepared to be successful in a related, more
advanced course for which the lower-division course is a prerequisite.

All grades are final.

Do not ask for more points or extra credit after
grades are posted in the Gradebook on our
Blackboard site. I do not give extra credit.

Testing Policy:
I do not give make-up exams nor do I except late work. I also do not give extra credit.
You are required to do two Stage Charts and keep an In-class Journal with your video summaries and in-class
activities. This will count for 40% of your grade.
You are required to do 3 Major Tests: = 20% a piece toward your final grade. There will be 3 major tests throughout the
semester that you will take on-line. Each one is 50 questions, Multiple Choice, taken on-line under TEST. See calendar
at the end of the syllabus for details on due dates.
EACH TEST:

Timed: 2 hours, 50 questions, 2 points apiece. open-book, open-note

You have only two continual hours to complete it, do not save or stop the test once you start.
Make sure you have a reliable computer so you are not kicked off-line during the test.
There are OPEN computer labs on each San Jac campus; you can always take the tests there for a reliable computer and
internet connection.
You will see one question at a time and will not be able to go back.
In case of a computer malfunction, you should mark your answers as you go in case you have to go back and find them later
because if I have to re-set your test, it will start over and your answers will no longer be there. If you try to save your individual
answers or the test, it can erase your test. Just submit at the end of the test.
You will get your score at the end of the test.
Once you start the test you cannot stop or save the test, if your computer malfunctions e-mail me and I will re-set it once. I do
not usually check my e-mail in the evenings or on the weekends so make sure if you get kicked off line and you need me to reset it that you are patient, I will re-set it as soon as I get the e-mail. I give you enough time to complete the test, so make sure
you do not wait until the last minute to start it. If you do and you run into computer problems, chances are I will not have time,
within the deadline, to re-set your test.
