Concrete Titan Heavy Duty Mixing (Knoxville, TN, USAJune 18, 2010) Pitts Engineering Works, LLC delivered the
Trailer 125/F first of its Model 125/F Concrete Titan Heavy-Duty Mixing Trailers to Parkway
Concrete Co., York (Charlotte) SC, on June 15th, 2010. The 125/F is the newest
generation of the heavy-duty concrete mixing trailer that Pitts has manufactured
since 1997, and offers a totally new control system, revolutionary to the mobile
concrete industry.

has Changed!
The 125/F offers a totally electronically controlled hydraulic system that eliminates the
mechanical-control valve-body of years past. The new electronic control panel controls
main power, ignition, remote starting, engine throttle and choke controls, drum direction
mode (mix and discharge), variable drum speed control, variable tilt position control
(transport or discharge), and the onboard water system. The control panel, specifically
designed for the extreme-service environment of construction machinery by Industrial
Electronics, Inc. of Knoxville, TN is completely sealed, and all controls conveniently
located. Drum Direction/Speed is electronically metered and features a built in ramp up/
ramp down delay when starting/stopping the drum rotation, or changing rotation direction. CONTROL PANEL 125/F
This exclusive feature completely eliminates any shock-loading to the gearbox/drum drive
motor, a major issue with competitive machines. Monty Pitts, President of Pitts

125/F at Parkway Concrete on Delivery.
The 125/F has a rated 1.25 cubic yard (956 Liter) capacity. With the 125/F comes
a larger GVWR of 10,160 lbs and increased water washout system capacity of 51
gallons (193 Liter). All of the electronic control wiring, DOT approved LED
lighting wiring, and braking system plumbing is run internal to the heavy steel
main-frame. Pitts Engineering is the only manufacturer of Concrete Trailers to
have been inspected and certified by the National Association of Trailer
Manufacturers.
