Purpose:
o For students to
understand what a vice
is and that everyone has
a vice, but it may look
differently. Introduce
the unit and what to
expect from it and set
up a safe and vulnerable
atmosphere for the
lesson.

anticipatory set and the
vices or not and the
students get to figure out
if some of the words
need to move sides, since
they have a better
understanding of vices
Assessment:
o Students will post a
thought, comment, or
take away from the class
day on their Weebly page
o Students will bring a
song from the last 3
decades that they believe
have a vice mentioned in
it. They will not have to
analyze the song, just
bring a song and what
vice they believe it
mentions

will discuss vices and
what we learned about
yesterday
o Different comic strips
will be displayed
around the room and
students will be able to
walk around and read
them. They will also
record what vice is
present and a thought
about the comic

Day 8: Presentation
Goals:
o Each student will
present their RAFT
assignment and the
class will help tweak
the work in order to
create a promotional
announcement for the
whole school to know
o Presentations on
individual vices and
what was learned
throughout the unit

Objectives:
o Students will be able to
work together to create
a PSA that the school
can use to inform others
on vices
o Students will
comprehend peers
presentations on
personal vices

o Materials that students

Anticipatory Set:
o Question and Answer
time that will allow the
students to ask any
questions before their
presentations begin
o Students will be handed
back their RAFT
