Transaction reporting obligations come from Directive [] on MiFID, implemented through SUP17 of the FSA Handbook.
In Citi, it is very fragmented architecture with 8 applications submitting transaction reports to the Approved Reporting
Mechanisms of FSA. This is costly and difficult to maintain and control trade data; this leads to inconsistencies and
performance issues. At present the TRAMP application acts as a control in this process, by providing a reconciliation (what
should have been reported vs. what has been reported). The purpose of developing TR_HUB is to centralize transaction
reporting function to one application, to increase control, efficiency, scalability and reduce the cost. The solution is to develop
new transaction reporting Hub out of the existing TRAMP application on a new platform using the latest technologies.
