Accreditation Statement
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the
Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing
Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the
American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) and The Teaching
Institute. The American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) is
accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for
physicians.
Credit Designation Statement
The American Academy of Emergency Medicine designates this live
activity for a maximum of 18 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians
should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their
participation in the activity.
Disclosure Policy
All faculty, staff and planning committee members participating in
continuing medical education programs provided by AAEM are
expected to disclose to the audience any real or apparent conflicts of
interest to the content of their presentations. AAEMs Education
Committee and ACCME Subcommittee have established procedures to
resolve conflict of interest.
Learning Objectives
1. Develop relevant clinical curriculum for emergency medicine
education with relevant content and effective delivery.
2. Design effective presentations that will ameliorate the learning of
future designed curriculum.
3. Apply the principles of effective communication in developing an
online presence for facilitation of scholarly discourse.
