St Kilda Film Festival 2010 Campaign Identity

Over 3 years we have built up the St Kilda Film Festival brand and elevated its positioning and exposure. Its now Australias premier short
film festival. In 2010 our hero was a dark and moody creature of the night. The cheeky bat embodies a touch of film genre. Other nocturnal
creatures cameo throughout the campaign collateral.

Leesa OReilly Stylist Brand Identity

Leesa OReilly, a stylist, recently expanded her business beyond photographic styling to include product sourcing and location scouting.
Additionally, she has also launched a prop hire arm to her business of which all her unique products acquired over the years can be
sourced.
Her brandmark is based on the idea that she is constantly sourcing objects from different places. We chose to produce four different
business cards to show the diversity of her work and business.

Metropolis Inc. Publications & Collateral

Working alongside marketing specialists Metropolis Inc.,Brave has developed a range of collateral for several property developments.
Portfolio 7 is an Information Memorandum for a group of 7 large scale commercial properties being sold across Australia. Both foiled fabric
case and cover were hand made for each publication. Acetate sheets were used throughout to divide sections. A limited quantity were
produced and distributed to selected candidates.
With Metropolis Inc, Brave also produced an Information Memorandum for 330 Collins Street in Melbournes CBD along with a campaign
identity for City Rise, a property development in Melbournes outer suburbs. City Rise incorporated both print collateral and on-site signage.

Marc Buckner Photography Identity & Publication

Each time Marc briefs us on a new project a buzz of energy fills the studio. From designing his identity to a series of publications
showcasing his work, it is always exciting to see how far we can push things to create an outstanding result. While working collaboratively
with Marc on his latest book, the project was open to our interpretation. The freedom to explore and re-interpret the imagery, allowed us to
showcase his photography in an non-commercial context.

Levis Publications
Brave have partnered with Levis to work on a number of different projects. The Old School campaign involved photography, art direction,

Peter Rowland Catering Brand Identity & Collateral

When first approached by Peter Rowland Catering, they had a strong reputation but an outdated visual identity. We updated the brand
mark through an evolution, refreshed the entire colour palate and image library. Every piece of collateral was re-designed meticulously and
protected by a brand guidelines document to ensure consistency.
Among the collateral is the tender, which Peter Rowland submitted to the National Gallery of Victoria. They now provide the catering for the
three cafes situated in the gallery.

Mike Long Photography Brand Identity

Our approach when creating Mike Longs image was to avoid all photographic clichs and most importantly use no photography. This was
achieved through raw, uncluttered typography.

For those of you out there craving for some solid, graphic design from the land of down under todays addition should be rather satisfying

Bloody marvellous work! So many fresh and cutting edge design studios emerging from down under in
the last year or two. Id also like to see a few of the print companies featured or at least credited if they
are also within the region, as the finishing and attention to detail in the final production is clearly bar
none.

Thanks for comments gents, Im sure all the lovely, hard-working folk at Brave will appreciate the kind
words :)
@Grez Ive been saying the same thing there are so many untouched gems in the Australian design
scene that are producing beautifully crafted work in age where print budgets are being reduced. For
me its almost like playing a game of Wheres Wally? trying to find them all. ;)

Very nice work. Well done. You managed to make me like rounded edges. Before I had a fear of them.
Really like the Long Photography CD holder too. Very sharp. Nice job!

McLaren if I remember correctly.

Every piece stands on its own merit, but the cheeky bat, that dark and moody creature of the night is
my hero piece!
