internship. The role will be broken down into three key aspects:
Digital Marketing Assistance for Client Accounts
For a North West based client, the Marketing Assistant will work on a number of tasks such as:
Email marketing strategy helping implement email marketing activity through one of our email
marketing platforms e.g. Campaign Monitor.
Online advertising opportunity research looking for opportunities to advertise the client
online.
Content marketing research and ideas suggesting topics that can feature in the clients content
marketing and possibly drafting the initial content.
Online advertising set up (AdWords, Facebook) helping to set-up, manage and report on
advertising.
Opportunity research for digital marketing looking for ways to improve the digital marketing
of the client.
Social media scheduling preparing social media posts and scheduling them in Hootsuite or
Buffer.
Digital Marketing Assistance for Liquid (to raise our profile and generate new business)
SEO - Increasing Liquids SEO presence for a niche group of terms through on page optimisation,
content marketing and link building. This will be completed through the use of an SEO tool that
Liquid will provide an induction on.
Content Marketing ideas for website content, scheduling and writing of landing pages.
Link Building and PR Campaign ideas and implementation of a dedicated link building
campaign, possibly incorporating a survey to back up an argument or PR angle.
Marketing Research and Initial Planning for new clients
Research into the market of new business prospects including background, competitor analysis,
customer profiling, current communications mix.
The Marketing Assistant would be required to present the findings of their desk based research
in a report document and talk it through with appropriate members of the team.
Initial ideas and recommendations for a marketing project or proposal for the new business
prospect. These initial ideas will be based on the learnings from their research. This could
include recommending marketing messages, marketing channels and campaign ideas.

The department of Disability and Education is aiming to develop a map of potential partnerships with
organisations that are run by and for disabled people including cultural or educational bodies. Although the
department has a number of established relationships we are seeking to extend this network in order to support
the development of future partnerships, research projects, research impact and potential student placements.
This project-based research internship will be integrated within the Disability and Education Department and will
