Role: Innovation Evangelist: Marketing, Branding and Communications


Responsibilities / Expected Deliverables:
Events design and management:
a) Academic events:
1. Scouting: Working with the academic alliances / Co-innovation teams to identify the
right academic events to sponsor or participate in, by providing appropriate inputs on
marketing / branding value to the event being considered
2. Content design: Planning the research & innovation content to be used / put on
showcase at the event, by liasoning with the respective organisers / institutions
3. Positioning & branding: Gearing up for the event by working with the other marketing
team members to get their support on campaigns, merchandise requirements,
involving TCS speakers required for this event
4. Event execution: Executing TCS presence at the event
5. Operational aspects: Liasoning with the support teams such as finance / legal to
ensure proper flow of necessary documentation between TCS and the organisers
b) Business / Industry events:
1. Pre-event planning: Working with Evangelise geo team and geo marketing teams to
plan TCS flagship event in respective geographies
2. Positioning & branding: Gearing up for the event by working with the other marketing
team members to get their support on campaigns, merchandise requirements, visual
communications design and involving TCS speakers required for this event
3. Event execution: Executing the research / innovation showcase at the event while
collaborating with other unit marketing teams
Post event coverage: Working with the Evangelise geo team and geo marketing team
on the post event coverage plans, debriefs etc

Skills:

Interested to use new but relevant technology tools for work


Comfortable working with multiple teams & members, when required and to present
the creation to external representatives, say a customer, when required
Eye on the details

Identifying patterns, creating process and structure to create guidelines for new variants
of events

Any other creative skills welcome

Exposure / Learning opportunities:

Adapting new formats of events for customers needs / requirements


Understanding geographical nuances to make innovation events relevant for these
markets
