I came up with idea of setting up the Test Environment as a replica of Production

Environment as lots of change orders weren't getting tested properly as we had


missing Replication Environment in Test Environment. I set up 11 Foundation and
11 Database Server on test environment with almost negligible help from Vendor. I
set up whole Replication as well as Vault set up between 11 sites. It has helped
immensely in our Database multisite Investigation.
I have setup US Test Environment for US BOM Project wherein did a complex
procedure of converting Multisite Environment to Single Foundation set with
challenge to use the same Multisite Database. It was a painful experience but gave
immense pleasure when it finally completed and same received lots of appreciation
from client.
Deployed Changes related to Database Multisite Analysis alone without help from
Alex Bruskin after handover. It required developing a PL/SQL code which is out of
my scope but I went out of my comfort zone and took the responsibility of
deploying it.
I have successfully migrated the servers of china from Shanghai to Changzhou. It
required a new configuration of vault and repliweb setup. There was a challenge of
doing it only on servers and meeting it on all client machines which required lots of
effort and analysis.
I have successfully helped Husqvarna in migrating from LUM to DSLS License which
is actually out of my scope but I took this added responsibility of doing it and at last
successfully did it which resulted in lots of praise from client.

The incidents and Requests has been resolved timely without any user escalation.
Have solved complex Skype for Business as well as Adobe Update required out of
scope Incident.
Received 2261 incidents in one year and there was a single breach incident even for
that we received exception approval as it was due to user unavailability.
At times worked at night to avoid P2 incidents coming our way during US working
hours when there was License migration from LUM to DSLS.
We experienced a dip of 22% in incidents because of our analysis on incidents
coming because of user mistakes. This resulted in Service Line Manager arranging a
town hall meeting of 3 days to make users aware of process related issues.

Handled all L3 level incidents as well as co-ordinated with vendor on L4 incidents. I


have been mentoring a team member of four people. We have resolved 2261
Incidents in last one year with just a single incident breach meeting a SLA
response.
The number of ticket count high means managing team on regular basis and
helping them out whenever needed and with resources having very limited initial
knowledge in SmarTeam required lot of efforts from my as well team members.
I take pride in mentoring them well and at the same time earn their respect.

I have been single point of contact for 99% activities involving my application. I
have been gathering all Requirements related to Stabilization project as well as US
Import Project all alone co-ordinating with different stakeholders and coming up
with ideas to enhance their tools.
I have been representing the team in front of client as well as internally bringing up
their concerns and suggestions forward.

I had healthy discussion and was able to explain the scenario of dependency on
Technia. I have requested for Dassault Systems Knowledge Base access to have
dependency removed from Technia.
Secondly have asked for Enovia V6 training so as to present a strong business case
to Client for their migration proposed next year.
The concerns were addressed and will be forwarded to next level for discussion
Manager agreed about me having Designation change because of all the roles and
responsibilities being handled by me presently and agreed for justified hike as well.

Overall Summary

I have been managing a team size of 4 people as well as have been single point of
contact for SmarTeam application for client as well as within HCL. I need a
Promotion as my current designation in no way justifies the responsibilities I have
been carrying out. I have been carrying all activities alone for SmarTeam. There has
to be a balance between the designation and my current responsibilities. I have
been constantly working towards bringing new projects in SmarTeam like presently
upgrade from R21 to R26 version. I have prepared business case to migrate from
SMarTeam to ENOVIA V6 as well which will in turn work towards huge benefit for
HCL.

I was given a hike of 1 Rs anually and no promotion last time after all the
appreciations I received from all and sundry. I hope that injustice will have it's end
this time as promised on one to one meeting with APM and at last things would be
corrected to some extent this time.

The amount of work being carried out by me definitely deserves a promotion and I
am really hopeful my designation will justify my responsibilities. I have been
carrying out everything without anything in return up till now from organization but
at sometime it has to end and I wish this time it's really an end and people do get
what they deserve.
