About role:
As a team member, you will provide planning/direction and insights at regional level for Sales
and Distribution function including ARPU analysis, distinct subs and relevent KPIs for GSM
products. You will also be managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to
tactical activities; develop plans to maximize efficiency in the channel and grow business
volume.

Goals:
The main purpose of this position is to lead and manage Channel Product Planning activities in
line with business goals and company strategy. This includes focusing on the following areas:

Maintaining Product Roadmaps for GSM segment and coming up with new product level
initiatives.

Responsible for product planning, pricing and related strategies.

Responsible for planning and growth of Recharge segment including all subsequent
products such as International Recharge, E-Voucher & Scards.

Planning/designing of campaigns to get desired business uptake.

Responsible for New Product level initiatives (GSM) and keeping track of product update
and performance.

Competition insights for Products and coordination with channel distribution team to
address critical issues.

Your Typical day at work:

Working closely with all the stakeholders for roadmap discussions and planning.

Conducting belt level analysis and preparing penetrative strategies.

Keeping a close eye on customer and competitor insights for better product planning.

Providing performance business insights to stakeholders which help them in making


effective business decisions.

Preparing product forecasts.

Foreseeing the challenges and its impact on business and suggesting ways to overcome
these challenges.

Getting the business cases for the campaigns approved from the management.

Performing post campaign evaluation to measure the efficiency.

Highlighting areas of improvement, based on data analysis, and offering solutions.

Going on regular market visits to gain first-hand insights for business improvement.

POC for external stakeholders S&D Interface for Segments and Marketing functions.

QOS analysis & future actions based on the outcome of analysis.

Identify new areas for improvement and operational efficiency.

Analyze day to day performance of channels & suggesting required changes to


effectively achieve the desired results / targets.

Achieve performance in accordance with corresponding KPIs.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

BBA or BS(CS) with a Masters degree in Business is preferred.

Experience:

Solid experience in Sales and distribution planning or Marketing. Pricing or segments


experience is preferred.

Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas:

Someone who is passionate about understanding customers (internal & external),


knowing their needs and expectations and working towards exceeding them.

A dynamic personality with the ability and passion to complete tasks in a short period of
time, particularly when there are timely limitations and challenging resources.

A person who is able to work independently with minimum supervision, and find ways
on how to do things effectively and efficiently.

Has the potential to lead and excellent at building relationships with co-workers and
external vendors.

Organised and can manage several projects and/or activities at a time.

Someone who is willing to take initiative, listen, learn and be able to respond positively
to challenges and criticism.

Someone who is strong at developing and managing products and deliverables as


expected in any marketing organization.

Someone who is structured and a good presenter.

Someone having proven experience as functional architect, project manager or subproject manager roles (preferably in the recharge segment)
