Admission Procedure:
Candidates are admitted based on their performance in the HSC (+2) examination/
qualified examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu state government and through counseling
(TNEA) conducted by Anna university, Chennai. Candidates intending to avail Management Quota
seats may also come in person to college campus (As per the Government Norms).
Application for admission to UG/PG courses is available along with the prospectus at The
Administrative Office, No 16, 3rd Cross Street, West C.I.T. Nagar, Chennai - 600 035 (Or) Alpha

B.E. / B.Tech Programmes:

Lateral Entry Candidates:


Qualifying Examination:
Diploma Candidates:
A pass with prescribed minimum eligibility marks in any one of the Diploma in appropriate
branch of Engineering / Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil
Nadu / equivalent prescribed for admission to the Degree Course.
B.Sc. Candidates:
A pass with prescribed minimum eligibility marks in any recognized Bachelors Degree in
Science of minimum 3 years duration with 10+2+3 years pattern and studied core Mathematics as
one of the subjects at degree level.
Note: Candidates with Degree other than Bachelor of Science are not eligible. For any clarification with
regard to Diploma qualification, write a letter to DOTE, get it clarified and then admit students. On any account,
candidates without prescribed qualifications will not be given admission approval.

Minimum Eligibility Marks:


Both Diploma and B.Sc. qualified candidates have to obtain the following minimum
eligibility marks for admission to Lateral Entry as prescribed in G.O. (Ms.) No.263, Higher
Education (J2) Department, dated: 30.6.2008 and as per directions issued in Government Letter
No.5464 / J1 / 2011-1, Higher Education Department, dated:4.7.2011.

Note:
Rounding off of minimum eligibility marks is not permitted and the candidate should have
obtained the minimum prescribed marks
In case of candidates studied in annual pattern, marks obtained by them in the Final year shall be
taken into account for arriving at minimum eligibility marks.
Sandwich Diploma: In case of Sandwich Diploma, marks secured in the last two semesters of the
course shall be considered. If the Industrial Training intervenes in any one of the last two semesters,
then the marks of the previous semester in which there is no Industrial Training shall be considered.
Part time Diploma: In case of Part time Diploma, the marks secured in the last 3 semesters
examination including private study marks shall be considered.

Eligibility Criteria for Master of Business Administration (MBA):


Any degree from a recognized university with any Government Entrance test (10+2+3)
pattern.

Eligibility Criteria for Master of Engineering (M.E.)


B.E/B.Tech graduate in the relevant branch / branches permitted by Anna University with
TANCET Government Entrance Test or Consortium Entrance Test
Minimum marks as per Anna University regulations.
Note: M.E/MBA
Candidates may also appear directly for admission to the College under Management Quota.
Candidates should appear for the entrance examination which is conducted by the Self-finance
Engineering Colleges consortium. Application form is available in the college office.

Fees Structure:
The fees for the B.E/B.Tech & M.E/MBA courses are fixed as per the instruction of Anna
University, DOTE & Government of Tamilnadu.
