o Video explaining the water cycle
Special Resources/Assistance
Room parent and/or parapros are to help read to students (if needed) what
they are to do.
If possible, try to have reading buddies help out their buddy with this
activity by reading the directions and questions for them. They also can help type
in their little buddys answers if writing is involved.
Summative Product:
In groups of no more than 4 students, they are to work together to produce
a video/song about the water cycle and adding it to Moodle (with help from older
reading buddy, parapro, or room parent for filming and submission)
Video must include:
o The 3 names of the stages of the water cycle
Draw poster to explain
Show direction of cycle with arrows
o What happens to water at each stage of the water cycle
Talk about each stage
Example:
Evaporation
o Sun heats water and makes vapor
o List 3 types of precipitation
Can draw on poster
o Answer the following questions:
Does water ever stop or does it keep moving in the water cycle
Why is it called the water cycle?
