SunExpress Operational Manual Part A

This Manual is the basic document governing SunExpress flight operations.


The Operations Manual has been prepared in accordance with the relevant
provisions of the DGCA and EASA regulations. It complies with the terms and
conditions of SunExpress Air Operator Certificate and contains, in addition to
national rules and regulations, also company policies, regulations and
procedures as well as relevant ICAO Standards and Procedures for Air
Navigation Services. Contents of the Operations Manual apply whenever any of
the aeroplanes listed on SunExpress AOC are operated for commercial air
transportation.
All employees shall be familiar with the laws, regulations, procedures and
contents of this manual and they shall be aware that they comply with the laws,
regulations and procedures of those States in which operations are conducted
and that are pertinent to the performance of their duties. (ORO.GEN.110(g)).
Authority Approval
Operations Manual Part A needs to be approved by the authority. For detail
information about Authority Approval for documents, refer to Documentation
Center Manual.

Operations manual part B Volume 1 Limitations & procedures

Operational manual Part B Volume1 mainly covers operational limitations and


procedures, This Operations Manual has been designed by SunExpress.
The purpose of this manual is to:
provide the necessary operating limitations, procedures, performance, and
systems information the flight crew needs to safely and efficiently operate the
B-737NG airplane during all anticipated airline operations
serve as a comprehensive reference for use during transition training for the
B-737NG airplane
serve as a review guide for use in recurrent training and proficiency checks
provide necessary operational data from the FAA approved Airplane Flight
Manual (AFM) to ensure that legal requirements are satisfied
establish standardized procedures and practices to enhance Boeing
operational philosophy and policy. This manual contains operational procedures
and information, which apply only to the airplanes listed in the Model
Identification section. The manual covers the Boeing delivered
configuration of these airplanes. Changes to the delivered configuration are
incorporated when covered by contractual revision agreements between the
SunExpress and The Boeing Company.
This manual is structured in a threechapter format:
Chapter 1 includes operational limitations
Chapter 2 includes normal procedures, supplementary procedures, and flight
crew training procedures
Chapter 3 includes abnormal and emergency procedures

Operations manual part B Volume 2 performance

The purpose of this manual is to:


provide the necessary operating limitations, procedures, performance, and
systems information the flight crew needs to safely and efficiently operate the
B-737NG airplane during all anticipated airline operations

Chapter 7 includes loading procedures.

Operations manual part B Volume 3 MEL & CDL

Operational Manual Part B Volume 3 covers aircrafts MEL & CDL ,particular
aircraft equipment, configuration and operational conditions, routes being flown
and requirements set by Turkish Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
Contents of MEL
The MEL contains only those items required by operating regulations or those
items of airworthiness significance which may be inoperative prior to dispatch,
provided limitations and appropriate procedures are observed. Equipment
obviously to the airplane airworthiness such as wings, rudders, flaps, engines,
landing gear, etc. is not listed and must be operative for all flights. It is important
to note all items which are related to the airworthiness of the airplane and not
included on the list are automatically required to be operative.
Equipment obviously not required for safe operation of the airplane such as
galley equipment, passenger convenience items, etc. is not listed.
Category A:
No standard interval is specified, however, items in this category shall be
rectified either before the next flight (no-go items), or in accordance with the
conditions stated in the remarks column (5).
Category B :
Items in this category shall be rectified within three (3) consecutive calendar
days, excluding the day of discovery.
Category C :
Items in this category shall be rectified within ten (10) consecutive calendar
days, excluding the day of discovery.
Category D :
Items in this category shall be rectified within one hundred and twenty (120)
consecutive calendar days, excluding the day of discovery.

Operations Manual Part D Training

The Operations Manual Part D is the basic document governing


SunExpress flight Crew and Operational personnell other than flight
crew Training.
The OMD has been prepared in accordance with the relevant
provisions of DGCA, SHTOPS1, AIR-OPS, FCL and ICAO.
It complies with the terms and conditions of SunExpress Air
Operator Certificate and contains, in addition to national and
international rules and regulations, also company policies,
regulations. Contents of the OMD apply whenever any of the
aeroplanes listed on SunExpress AOC are operated for commercial
air transportation and training.
This Operations Manual has been divided into two parts.
a. Policy Parts reflects all regulatory requirements (SHT OPS 1,
AIR-OPS, FCL, ICAO, IOSA and DGCA requirements) and are
required DGCA approval.
b. Appendices reflect detailed information about related policy
parts.

Ground Operations Manual

Ground Operational manual GOM covers all aspects related with


ground movment, passanger handling, aircraft weight and balance
etc..
The ground Operations manual has been preapered in acordance
with the relevent prevision of the SHT-OPS and EU-OPS, it complies
with the terms and conditions of SunExpres Air Operator Certificate
as wel as national, international rules&regulation and company
procedures
