Huh? What's this? A cake!

Oh...that? I brought it for you to eat.
Really? Wow. Now I've seen everything! You bring a cake for me
to eat?
Yeah...but...I have a favor to ask of you.
Right? Yeah, it would be weird if you didn't have a favor to ask.

You brought the cake because you wanted me to eat the cake
and do you a favor, right?
I have a part-time job this weekend, but I have to go somewhere
with my boyfriend.
Forget it. I don't want the cake either.
All right. Give me the cake back. I'll take it to my boyfriend for him
to eat.

can (do something)"

.
"I brought this for you to eat."
We can translate the English expression "for," "in order for," or "for the sake of," to Korean in
many different ways, but what you can find most commonly in the dictionary is the word
(wihaeseo). However, this is only a direct translation of these expressions and we
don't really use it in conversational Korean. When you do something so that someone can do
something else, or when you do something because you want someone to do something, the
expression that you can use to describe this is not (wihaeseo) but -() (-(eu)rago
).
-()
We use -() (-(eu)rago) to describe the cause or the intention behind an action, so we
commonly use it when we want to explain why we did something.
Construction
Add -() after the verb stem.

1. (boda) - + = (borago)
2. (japda) - + = (jabeurago)
