...click on "Proceed"....:
...and save it as
dismounted_knights_of_santiago_lod0.mesh....:
Repeat this for all the other lods (1, 2 and 3), and your 3D model
will be ready for M2TW, but now you have to code it in
battle_models.modeldb, EDU (export_descr_unit.txt) and EDB
(export_descr_buildings.txt).
Paste it ( as for ALL the other lods) in:
C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total
War\data\unit_models\_units\en_lmail_hmail

Hey, I was wondering how do you get your bones to show like
that in Ms3d? My bones are circular scribbles shaped like this:

About the MS3D (unregistered) problem, you must open files via
MS3D: open the program and after this, your files. If you open them
directly via files, you got that error.

Well that takes it away but I was wondering how do you get the
bones to appear like normal 3D bones (not actual real life
shaped bones mind you hehe), but standard 3D package bones
like in his screenshots.
Start Milkshape 3d
Go to File -> Preferences...
Choose the "Misc" tab
Change "Joint Size" to 0.025 (default is 1.0, but it's a bit to much
for m2tw models
)
