renewable energy

A Background of Renewable Energy in Ogata

Farming, Ecology, and Energy in Ogata
Water drainage, farm machines, and other farming vehicles use fossil fuels,
which harm the environment.
Since the reclamation, Lake Hachiros water quality has gotten gradually worse.
We want a balance between people and the environment through sustainable
farming.

Our mission is for Ogata to coexist with nature.

The challenge for us is to be sustainable by making the most of
our resources and facing our energy problems.

Companies invest in renewable energy
projects in Ogata.
Local residents also can invest and receive
profits.
Earnings from renewable energy projects
are reinvested in the community.
Local resources are used in the energy
production cycle.

Our Projects Plan

We want our residents to get societal and economic benefits

from our renewable energy projects.

Now, Ogatas energy use releases a large amount of carbon dioxide,

and our goal is to lower our emissions with renewable
energy.

These plans for farming, renewable energy, and

our ecosystem are not just environmental goals,
but are part of an economic and social cycle that
benefits our community.
