3.Confirmed Special Notice
(1)If there isn't enough space in the hard disk where the system installed,
nothing will be printed or printing stops on the way. Use another hard disk
for
spool holder.
(2)The setting of the number of copies may be invalid depending on application
.
(3)If you select a line type other than solid line, actual printing may be
different from the screen.
(4)If you print TrueType font by specifying "bold font" and "outline," the fon
t
may not be bold font.
(5)If output fails, transit dialog may remain at the upper left of the screen.
Click "OK" button.
(6)The number of copies print is not supported on this driver.
(7)When outputting to the file from Excel, Notepad, AcrobatReader and Illustra
tor,
etc., the window to specify the destination to save is not displayed.
Enter the output destination and the file name as follows.
:c:\filename.prn
(8)A part of data may be clipped. In this case, the head withdrawal posiion
differs from the specified position.
(9)When the icon displayed in the status dialog change a mark of caution, noth
ing
is cut because there is nothing but the bitmap.
(10)When connecting multiple plotters, confirm that 1st plotter output is
completed before output to 2nd plotter.
4.Notes
(1)Notes when cutting from Microsoft Word 2003
a. When setting Font Color to "Gray-40%," change "Gray-40%" registered in Cu

t
condition setting from RGB(150,150,150) to RGB(153,153,153).
b. For Word, setting of Copies will be invalid.
c. Since items set in Page Setup are not reflected to Properties setting of
Print Dialog automatically, make the setting same manually.
(2)Notes when cutting from Microsoft Word 2003-2013
a. Use only "Solid" for "Dashed" of "Line." When using "Dash" or "Dot," outl
ine

b. If you use AutoShapes, the line width and filling are recognized and mult
iple
cut lines are created.
Set the internal color to "No Fill", or set the line color to "No Outline

and adjust.
c. When you click OK button and the warning message about margin is displaye

a. Even if "Port" is set to something other than "FILE," the system may perf

"-"Services."When "Port" is set to other than "FILE," if FILE output is

(5)Notes when cutting from Microsoft PowerPoint 2003-2013
a. If RGB(255,255,255) color is registered in the list of "Cut condition
setting," the frame of the paper is also cut.
b. If you set "Scale to fit paper," the Scale setting is invalid.
c. Set "Print what" to "Slides" in Print dialog.
d. If you set the size of Slides to "Custom" in Page Setup, the warning mess
age
is displayed when performing printing. However, continue printing.
e. If you use AutoShapes, the line width and filling are recognized and mult
iple
cut lines are created.
Set the internal color to "No Fill", or set the line color to "No Outline
"
and adjust.
(6)Notes when cutting from Adobe Illustrator
a. Set "Weight" to "0.25pt" of "Stroke" setting.

b. Perform printing by turning off "Bitmap Printing" of Print Dialog.


c. The printer's simple preview display and the output orientation may not
match.
d. If the artboard exceeds the driver media size, select the following to
perform printing.
CS5: [Print]-[Options]-Tile "Imageable Areas""
CS6, CC: [Print]-[Options]-Scaling "Tile Imageable Areas"
e. In [Print] - [Media], if "Auto-Rotate" is checked, the driver's media
orientation settings will not be reflected.
(7)Notes when cutting from CorelDRAW
a. For the setting existing both in CoreIDRAW side and in Printer Driver suc
h as
Mirror and Scale, set either one of the two settings. If you set both two
setting, actual printing will be double-barreled effect.
b. If cutting data exceeds the driver paper size, place a check mark in
"Print tiled pages" from "Print"-"Layout."
c. Set "Outline Width" to 0.07mm or narrower.
(8)Notes when cutting from AutoCAD2014
a. Media orientation and scaling are not controlled by the driver. Perform
settings on the AutoCAD side.
5.To cut a line or a frame of white(255,255,255)
To cut a line or a frame of white, select cut condition number to be changed f
rom
the list of "Cut condition setting" and click "Color."
Select white(RGB(255,255,255)) in "Color" Dialog.
*If white has not been registered in the list(No.1 to No.40), even if you turn
on
"Use No.1 condition only" or set "Undefined color," white will not be cut.
