Lesson Plan on Learning and Physical/Motor Development
I.

Objectives
Students must be able to achieve the following at the end of the lesson:
Cognitive: learn and understand the developing patterns of motor
development
Affective: have insight and recognize implications of Physical/Motor
Development
Psychomotor: be aware of his/her own developmental skills and acquire
other skills

II.

Subject Matter
Topic: Learning and Physical/Motor Development
Materials: Laptop and projector for visual aids; paper and pencil for
activities and seatwork

III.

Procedure
Preparation
1.
Greet the students, ask about how their day was, and
introduce self.
2.
Manage the classroom environment for it to be conducive
to learning.
Activity: Quiz Bee with Charades
1.
Explain the mechanics of the activity to the class.
2.
Group the class into four, with at least 6 members
3.
Give the students the paper and pencil; where they could
write their answers to the question.
4.
One representative for each group will go in front to
answer a question then he/she will act it out until his/her
groupmates guessed the answer (which they will write on the
paper).
5.
Let the class play for fifteen (15) minutes.
6.
Count the scores of each group and give rewards to
winning group. Make sure to also give remarks to other group to
avoid favoritism.
Analysis
1.
Ask the students if they enjoyed the activity.
2.
Call one representative from each group to give insight
about the activity (e.g. what part of the activity they had hard
time).
3.
Ask the students what are the things they learned from
the activity.
4.
Explain the relation of the game to the students.

Abstraction
1.
Introduce the topic to the students.
2.
Ask students if they have ideas about the topic or if they
encountered the topic before.
3.
Proceed to the lesson.
4.
Construct a summary of the lesson that the students
could easily remember and understand.
Application
1.
Discuss the implications and importance of
physical/motor development.
2.
Apply the lesson to other situations by giving examples
appropriate to the students.
3.
Let the students give their insight and opinions about
implications of physical/motor development.
IV.
Evaluation
Ask the students to get a pen and a piece of paper for their seatwork

What is the biologically driven process and patterns of the childs
brain growth?
2. When are the biological patterns of motor development most
apparent?

7. What is Eating Disorder?
8. Briefly describe the early development of movements.
9. Explain one type of Eating Disorder?
