Continuing some of the work that I did as part of the Active Learning Lab from previous
school year.
Evaluated the results of five grant programs administered by the Utah STEM Action Center,
analyzing qualitative and quantitative data from over 197,000 students and 17,000 teachers.

Graduate Research Assistant for Dr. Taylor Martin and Sarah Brasiel
Evaluated the results of five grant programs administered by the Utah STEM Action Center,
analyzing qualitative and quantitative data from over 197,000 students and 17,000 teachers.
Authored and co-authored several journal and conference papers that were accepted to
education research publication and conferences throughout the United States.
Taught 4th-5th grade students Scratch programming and electronic textiles (e-textiles).
Assisted Georgia based artist, Jeff Mathers at Wilson Elementary, Logan, UT in his STEM to
STEAM project.

Edited more than 150 Engineering Guided Notes (EGN) video for ENGR 2210 (Foundation
in Electronics) course.
Help in designing ENGR 2210 (Foundation of Electronics) online summer 2015 course.
Summer 2013
Help Dr. Kurt Becker and Dr. Oenardi Lawanto from USU and other faculty members from
University of Indonesia in videotaping and taking pictures throughout the workshop.
With other workshop facilitators, I also presented a poster and showed the video I made
during the Global Engagement conference at USU.
Developing clinical skills such as: counting rat/mice brain cells, mice perfusions, mice brain
staining, PCR, gel electrophoresis, mice brain sectioning.
Spring 2012
Help Dr. Chen in organizing his new chemistry Laboratory. Duties including, unboxing
several chemistry equipment and also installing it.
Summer 2011
Help setup multiple iPads that will be used as part of Dr. Lawanto NSF grant.
Analyzed engineering survey data and interpret the findings for journal publications.

Feeding pigeons and running laboratory test on pigeons. We are looking at how specific
medications affects pigeons ability to resist temptations such as gambling or succumbing to
immediate gratification.
