Technical Features
BS 4449:1997 Gr460B, BS4449:2005 GrB500B rebars are
produced with low carbon equivalent & Weldable,
whereas ASTM A615 Gr60 are Non-Weldable
BS 4449:1997 Gr460B, BS4449:2005 GrB500B rebars
have High Strength Compared to ASTM A615 Gr60 which
reduces steel consumption & congestion in structure, in
turn reduces overall cost of project

MARKING
Deformed bars produced at Qatar Steel conform to various national and international standards such as, BS 4449:1997
Grade 460B & BS 4449:2005 Grade B 500B (British), SSA 2/1992 (Saudi High Tensile), ASTM A 615 Grade 40/Grade 60
(American).
The registered trade mark 'QATAR STEEL' is rolled on every deformed rebars at an interval of about one meter long
with all identification marks.
