For first year you can take maximum of 73 credits, out of which only 60 credits (6 Subjects each 10

credits) can be chosen from management engineering core syllabus in 1st Year, for this you have 4
mandatory subjects and remaining two can be chosen from the 3 subjects.

You can choose rest 12 credits from Excessive option provided in the Study plan.
Prefer choosing which are easy, from other courses taught in Polimi. You can add 10 credits as a free
choice for the Degree. For completion of degree you should have 120 credits. For Management 110
credits are mandatory from the course work for the rest 10 you can have your own choice.
So, Try to take the remaining 12 credits from codes 094965(Electrical Systems for Transportataion10 credits), 096011(Communications skills-2 Credits), 089473(Solid state physics) which require less
effort to clear the Exam which youre suggested from friends from other departments.
Normally you have exams in February, July and September. 2 calls (exam attempts) each in,
February, July and September . So, for each subject you can write a maximum of five attempts,
during an academic year. In some cases you have only 3 calls depend on the Professor.

7. See below the Effective credits option.

9. Here you see all the Mandatory courses which I mentioned above AFC, S&M, L&I.

10. Tick all the 3 Courses

11. Select from course group allows you to add the Electives you have to pick only 2. click the
option.

12. Select any 2 courses in the screen

13. I choose Industrial & Logistics for an example. Choose your own choice, only 2 can be
selected.

14. Click continue.

15. Now you have 60 credits selected and you can choose 13 credits extra for adding them click
on continue.

16. Go to Excess courses and click on Excess

17. Enter the codes 094965 and click on search course below option provided.

18. Add the course which is 10 credits which is easy and can be used as a free course.

19. You see the course below

20. In the same way enter 096011(2 credits) and click on search course.

21. Continue and finally save your study plan.
